FAMILY DAY HOMES FOR STRESS-FREE EARLY LEARNING IN EDMONTON

Glengarry Child Care Society offers families the option of home-based early learning. Family day homes are located throughout the city of Edmonton. Day home educators provide care for up to 6 children in their own homes. Monthly fees and hours of operation are set by each day home educator and will vary from home to home. Day home educators provide 2 snacks and a hot lunch daily.

Benefits of a family day home setting include smaller group sizes, the comfort of a home setting and more opportunities for one-on-one interactions with the day home educator. The role of the agency is to approve providers and their homes, monitor each home to ensure that they continuously meet the provincial family day home standards and that children are provided with high-quality care.
