OUT-OF-SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM FOR YOUR KIDS IN EDMONTON

The out-of-school care program offered by us at Glengarry Child Care Society in Edmonton provides care for up to 29 children, from kindergarten to grade 6, Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We provide full daycare on non-school days, including spring break, teachers’ convention, Christmas break and the summer months.  

Field trips and community outings are planned for non-school days. All field trip costs are covered by the centre at no cost to parents. The annual summer camping trip is open to all children aged 4.5 - 12 years old at no cost to parents. The camp is held at Camp Meywasin on Lake Wabamum. We ensure that we have a high number of educators and parent volunteers to provide a safe and fun experience for the children. Adults and children sleep in bunkhouses, explore the natural surroundings, play games, participate in an afternoon of swimming in the lake, are supervised by a certified lifeguard, learn and practice fishing, and eat a tonne of food! Most of all, everyone has lots of fun!
